Depaz Port Cask Finish aged rhum is maturated for at least eight years in specially selected small oak casks. It is then finished for eleven months in Port casks which give it rich aromas of fig and stewed fruits.

ON THE NOSE

Delicately oaked notes structured with vanilla, chocolate and ripe fruits.

ON THE PALATE

Soft oak, followed by vanilla pastry and chocolate. Notes of mature port develop, laced with hazelnut, dried fruits, cocoa and rose jam. The finish uncovers lingering notes of subtle jasmine, coffee and plum.

PERFECT PAIRINGS

Depaz Port Cask Finish is an excellent paired with a slice of grilled foie gras served with a warm green papaya salad. Alternatively serve to enhance a roasted spiced duck breast, or add a touch to a plaintain tarte tatin.
